An updated live program has been released with the dates and times for the Virtual APSA 2020 Annual Meeting & Exhibition shifted to Mountain Time (MT, UTC-6) to accommodate the largest number of attendees. Please take a close look at the new schedule.

The meeting will kick off on Wednesday, September 9, at 12:00 p.m. with a welcome and a plenary address from APSA President Paula McClain, Duke University.  This will be followed by panels from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (MT, UTC-6) on Wednesday.  Panels will run again from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (MT, UTC-6) on Thursday–Sunday.  Most panels originally slated for Thursday–Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. will stay in their original time slot, but are now in Mountain Time. Some papers and panels were combined, so this may have resulted in a time/date change.

In addition, 4:00 p.m. panel slots have moved to different days:

  • Thursday 4:00 p.m. panels have shifted to Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.
  • Friday 4:00 p.m. panels have shifted to Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
  • Saturday 4:00 p.m. panels have shifted to Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

Business meetings and receptions are still in the process of moving.

We will allow for presenters with significant time zone conflicts (Asia, Australia, New Zealand, or Hawaii) to request a new pre-existing program time slot using this form. All requests must be received by July 17, 2020.

Due to the large program size, we are unable to accept scheduling requests outside of these time zones. Please confirm with all participants that your new requested time will work for everyone before submitting.
