Paper Upload Instructions<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

One of your duties as a paper author at the 2020 APSA Annual Meeting<\/a> is to upload your paper in advance of the conference. While it\u2019s important for your session colleagues to have it to review in advance to prepare remarks, it\u2019s also important for conference attendees to be able to peruse session details and papers as they decide which sessions to attend onsite. Please note that you may also wish to include your paper in the virtual meeting broadcast room as a handout for download. We will be sending out more information on this soon.<\/p>\n

All papers must be uploaded by Wednesday, August 26.<\/strong><\/p>\n

To upload your paper:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Visit the conference program.<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Click \u201cSign In\u201d on the left-hand side and log in using your APSA credentials.<\/li>\n
  3. Click \u201cSubmission System Menu\u201d on the left-hand side.<\/li>\n
  4. Under the the Submitter Menu, click \u201cView Submissions\/Upload Papers.\u201d<\/li>\n
  5. Select the\u00a0\u201cSubmissions\u201d tab.<\/li>\n
  6. Click the \u201cUpload\u201d link in the far right action column to upload your paper for the relevant session. Supported formats include Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF, Word Perfect, Plain Text, and Rich Text Format (rtf).\u00a0All files will be converted to Adobe Acrobat format. If you want to check the converted file, you may return to the site in 72 hours.<\/li>\n
  7. Choose your file.<\/li>\n
  8. Click \u201cUpload and Continue.\u201d You will receive confirmation of your uploaded submission by email within 24 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    To download papers:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Log into the online program.<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n
    2. Find the panel that you are interested in, and click on the title.<\/li>\n
    3. If there are available downloads, you\u2019ll see a \u201cDownload\u201d button at the top of the session information (to the right of the \u201cAdd to Personal Schedule\u201d button),\u00a0along with how many downloads there are. When you click this button, it will display the paper that is available for download. Papers that are not yet available for download will be grayed out.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
