The <a href=\"https:\/\/apsamena.org\/2019\/12\/09\/2020-research-development-group\/\">MENA RDG<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/web.apsanet.org\/africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2020\/01\/Africa-RDG-2020-Call-.pdf\">Africa RDG<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/compdemapsa.wufoo.com\/forms\/mzlokwz0ca0llp\/\">Democracy &amp; Autocracy Workshop<\/a> are organized by APSA Organized Sections and will take place as virtual short courses on Tuesday, Sept. 8 and Wednesday, Sept. 9. For more information <a href=\"mailto:astinson@apsanet.org\">contact us here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MENA RDG: 7am \u2013 12pm MT on 9\/8 and 9\/9<\/strong><br \/>\nOrganized by the MENA Politics section, and with support from the Project on Middle East Political Science (POMEPS), this short course features research by six early-career scholars from the MENA region (see detailed schedule). Papers will be shared in advance to maximize time for feedback and discussion among attendees. While most of the RDG will be closed to authors and discussants, organizers will hold a Professional Development session from 12-2pm on 9\/9 which is open for <a href=\"https:\/\/apsamena.us20.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=949acc7a55a9b36e307e5fdae&amp;id=fdc3fe3fc1&amp;e=58f48b05b8\">pre-registration<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Africa RDG: 9am \u2013 12pm MT on 9\/8 and 9\/9<\/strong><br \/>\nOrganized by the African Politics Conference Group (APCG), and with support from The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, this short course features research by eight African scholars (see <a href=\"https:\/\/mcusercontent.com\/4eb4addf0d43ba5a7bee0c0e5\/files\/a017ff3e-5c4d-4948-bd68-998552b00b98\/Africa_RDG_flyer_Combined.pdf\">program details<\/a>).
