{"id":1921,"date":"2022-04-27T19:44:38","date_gmt":"2022-04-27T19:44:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/connect.apsanet.org\/apsa2022\/?page_id=1921"},"modified":"2024-10-02T20:57:59","modified_gmt":"2024-10-02T20:57:59","slug":"child-care","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/connect.apsanet.org\/apsa2022\/child-care\/","title":{"rendered":"Child Care"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To support APSA Annual Meeting members and attendees who require childcare to attend the meeting, APSA, with the support of Cambridge University Press,\u00a0 is now offering an opportunity to apply for a limited number of reimbursements (up to $250 per family) to help subsidize the cost of childcare in Montr\u00e9al for in-person APSA members at the 2022 Annual Meeting. <strong>The <a href=\"https:\/\/apsa.secure-platform.com\/a\/solicitations\/132\/home\">deadline to apply<\/a> to be considered for a childcare reimbursement is August 18, 2022.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility Requirements for Childcare Reimbursement:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be an APSA Member registered to attend the in-person APSA Annual Meeting;<\/li>\n<li>Must have one or more dependents requiring childcare in Montr\u00e9al (arranged by the attendee) to attend the Meeting;<\/li>\n<li>Only one caregiver per family may apply;<\/li>\n<li>Reimbursements are not intended to cover routine childcare costs that a member is already paying on a day-to-day basis;<\/li>\n<li>Preference will be given to applicants in the early stages of their careers;<\/li>\n<li>Reimbursements will not cover other miscellaneous costs related to childcare, such as meals, travel, and activities; and<\/li>\n<li>Itemized receipts must include childcare service provider name (based in Montr\u00e9al), dates of service (during the meeting), and amount of service.<\/li>\n<li>All receipts will need to be uploaded by October 7, 2022.
