APSA recognizes the effect travel has on climate change. As such, APSA has included a donation option on the registration form to help offset the impact. The donations received will be distributed between three environmental organizations:\u00a0<\/p>\n

Carbonfund.org<\/strong><\/a>
Carbonfund.org supports third-party validated and verified voluntary carbon offset projects including renewable energy, energy efficiency, reforestation and forest conservation projects globally that reduce carbon dioxide emissions and the threat of climate change.<\/p>\n

National Forest Foundation<\/a><\/strong>
The NFF works to inspire meaningful connections to public National Forests and leads forest conservation efforts on these lands, including planting 50 million trees.<\/p>\n

The Nature Conservancy<\/a><\/strong>
The Nature Conservancy is a global environmental nonprofit working to create a world where people and nature can thrive.<\/p>\n
