The Annual Meeting is a great opportunity for scholars to gather for sessions and workshops, create valuable connections and research partnerships, see the latest in the Exhibit Hall, and tap into vital career services. We believe the in-person event provides an unparalleled opportunity for these events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To help address international travel concerns, APSA has created a limited virtual participation option for select presenters at the Annual Meeting. APSA strongly recommends that attendees be vaccinated for COVID-19 in advance of the Annual Meeting and wear masks while in the meeting spaces. All participants should RSVP by March 20, 2025.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>How do I accept my participation?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By Thursday, March 20:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1) Login to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20251224051114\/https:\/\/admin.allacademic.com\/one\/apsa\/apsa25\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">submission&nbsp;<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20251224051114\/https:\/\/admin.allacademic.com\/one\/apsa\/apsa23\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">system,<\/a>&nbsp;using&nbsp;your APSAnet.org login information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2) On the RSVP menu, select&nbsp;the \u201cConfirm or Decline Participation\u201d link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3) For each participation role, you will need to accept or decline. &nbsp;If you have been accepted to more than one role and\/or session (paper presenter in a session, session chair, discussant, poster session presenter, etc.),&nbsp;you will see a list of items \u2013&nbsp;<strong>for each you need to either&nbsp;confirm or decline<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4) Click \u201cAccept and Continue.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5) Review your work and click \u201cSave.\u201d Once your response has been successfully recorded, you will be taken to a confirmation email page, and you will also receive a confirmation email, indicating&nbsp;your response(s).<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>How do I change from a presenting to non-presenting co-author or vice versa?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All paper authors can now adjust the author and non-presenting co-author roles in the system. To do so, log into the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20251224051114\/https:\/\/convention2.allacademic.com\/one\/apsa\/apsa25\">submission system<\/a>&nbsp;and click \u201cSubmit or Edit a Proposal.\u201d Under this, you will be able to change authors to non-presenting co-authors and non-presenting co-authors to authors. Please note that all papers must have at least one author and an acceptance from that author to remain on the program. The deadline to be able to edit these roles via the submission system is Thursday, March 20. Once the change is made, a new invitation will be generated in the system for the presenting authors to respond to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">*<em>Please note that non-presenting co-authors are considered \u201cinactive\u201d roles, so they do not require an RSVP and will not show up on your RSVP dashboard.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Can I add or remove an author on my paper or panel?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No. You can only adjust between presenting and non-presenting co-author roles for existing authors within the system. If you would like to add or remove an author, please contact\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20251224051114\/mailto:meeting@apsanet.org\">meeting@apsanet.org<\/a>\u00a0to make this change for you.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Why did I receive the invitation again after I already responded?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you believe you have already responded to this role, it is possible that the submitters of the proposal have made changes to the author roles. Please log into the system and confirm your role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is also a two step save process for your roles. Please be sure your responded to all roles.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>What happens if I decline my role as an author?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All authors that declined will automatically become non-presenting co-authors after the March 20 deadline. If the all authors on a submission decline, the paper will be removed from the program. Each session will feature eight presenters. Each scholar will have five minutes to present, followed by five minutes of feedback or Q&amp;A. This format provides a structured framework, giving presenters not only an opportunity to share their research at the world\u2019s largest political science meeting, but also a chance to develop and enhance their research communication skills through a concise, focused presentation.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Can I present on my panel virtually?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Requests to present virtually were due on April 14<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and notifications were sent shortly thereafter.
