\u2023 How to Join Virtual Panels<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

How do I join Virtual Participation panels?
<\/strong>Starting Thursday (9\/11), Zoom links for virtual participation panels will appear in the All Academic submission system online program<\/u><\/a>. To access panel Zoom links, you must be both <\/strong>registered for the Annual Meeting<\/strong><\/a> and logged into the program. <\/strong>Please test your APSA credentials in advance to ensure you can seamlessly access the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All panelists are expected to attend in person unless APSA has granted prior approval for virtual participation. Purchasing a virtual registration does not grant permission to present remotely.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To join a session, sign into the program, and search for the panel title (or use the filters in the left-side menu). Events with virtual participation are marked with a \u201c(V)\u201d and the panel type includes \u201cVirtual Participation.\u201d If these are not indicated, then the panel is in-person only and will not have a Zoom link. Once you locate a panel, expand the session details and click \u201cJoin Zoom Session\u201d at the top of the page. Zoom links become active 15 minutes before the scheduled start time and automatically close 10 minutes after the session ends. For security, please do not share or post any Zoom links.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2023 Virtual Participation Logistics<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Is the meeting going to be a fully hybrid meeting?<\/strong>
No. The intention is to hold an in-person meeting with a limited number of virtual presenters. APSA will set a limited number of panel rooms with the technology needed to allow for select individuals to present virtually on their in-person panel. The remaining panel rooms will be set for fully in-person participation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who is APSA intending to help by providing a virtual participation option?<\/strong>
The intention of the virtual participation option is to assist those who have concerns traveling to\/from the 2025 Annual Meeting given its location. This may include the below scenarios: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
