Broadening the Impact of Women Also Know Stuff

This project will increase the presence of women political scientists in the media and the ability of women political scientists to effectively respond to media requests. To that end, they will host a one-day gathering in Washington DC of the Women Also Know Stuff Executive Board, with 1) representatives of local and national media, 2) representatives from relevant foundations, and 3) women political scientists, with a focus on members of historically marginalized communities such as Black women from local HBCUs. After the gathering, there will be an updated website and a media guide for political scientists.
