This includes $2,500 research grants, grants up to $10,000 for collaborative projects, and a number of grants specifically aimed at supporting public engagement and teaching.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:57px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-7387b849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:20%\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About the Centennial Center<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Centennial Center\u2019s mission is to advance the political science discipline, and we do that through a broad range of programs supporting research, teaching, and public engagement.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Grants and Program Highlights<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These include grant opportunities to support traditional research, and to support larger projects, including\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/connect.apsanet.org\/centennialcenter\/research-partnerships-for-critical-issues\/\">research partnerships between practitioners and academic experts on pressing public issues<\/a> and community-oriented programs aimed at enhancing civic engagement and efficacy.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our public engagement programs include a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/connect.apsanet.org\/centennialcenter\/fellowships\/public-scholarship-program\/\">Public Scholarship Program<\/a>&nbsp;that trains graduate students to blog for&nbsp;<em>The American Political Science Review<\/em>. The Centennial Center also provides support to the <a href=\"https:\/\/connect.apsanet.org\/icer\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/connect.apsanet.org\/icer\/\">Institute for Civically Engaged Research<\/a> (ICER), a summer methods workshop that trains political scientists in best practices for conducting rigorous, ethical, community-engaged research.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Centennial Center is supported by an advisory board of six APSA members who help guide the center\u2019s operations.
