Although political scientists offer models of excellence in civically engaged research, relevant methods and strategies are not yet widely taught in the discipline\u2019s graduate programs or sufficiently valued in the profession as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a2dc39b22ecdb0455dca34e6ad08d21b\">To address this need, the APSA Presidential Task Force on New Partnerships developed the APSA Institute for Civically Engaged Research (ICER).
