{"id":1069,"date":"2020-05-04T21:11:43","date_gmt":"2020-05-04T21:11:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/connect.apsanet.org\/interpretationandmethod\/?p=1069"},"modified":"2023-08-25T13:12:39","modified_gmt":"2023-08-25T13:12:39","slug":"1069","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/connect.apsanet.org\/interpretationandmethod\/2020\/05\/04\/1069\/","title":{"rendered":"2020 APSA Short Course, &#8220;The Methods Studio: Interpretivism and Epistemic Politics.&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am pleased to share the Call for Applications for the IMM&#8217;s <strong>2020 Short Course at APSA, &#8220;<\/strong><strong>The Methods Studio: <\/strong><strong>Interpretivism and Epistemic Politics.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The Methods Studio Short Course is comprised of two parts: a workshop and a \u201ccrit.&#8221; The focus of this year\u2019s workshop (Part I) is \u201cInterpretivism and Epistemic Politics.\u201d The \u201ccrit\u201d (Part II) will entail focused discussion of interpretive methods in works in progress that will be selected in advance via application.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Complete details are <a href=\"https:\/\/mk0apsaconnectbvy6p6.kinstacdn.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/60\/2020\/05\/IMM-SC2020-description.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">available here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Completed application forms must be sent to the Interpretive Methods Short Course organizer [<a href=\"mailto:Rina.Williams@uc.edu\">Rina.Williams@uc.edu<\/a>] no later than June 1. Selected applicants will be notified by mid-June. Open to all subfields, all interpretive methods, all levels\/ranks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>The Application Form is <a href=\"https:\/\/connect.apsanet.org\/interpretationandmethod\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/60\/2020\/05\/IMM-SC2020-CritAppl.docx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">available here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Short Course will run from 1:30-5:30pm, on Wednesday September 9, 2020 in the Parc 55, Balboa Room.
