Voters in numerous states and local districts will go to the polls today<\/a> to elect their leaders and vote on ballot measures. These off-year elections<\/a> include races for governorship in Kentucky and Mississippi, as well as legislative elections in Virginia. Various cities across the U.S. will hold elections for mayors and city council members<\/a>. Voters will also decide on a range of ballot measures<\/a> focusing on ranked-choice voting, sanctuary city status, and a Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights, among other issues.
