The program matches graduate students and junior faculty with senior colleagues for the purpose of receiving support on a specific project at an advanced stage. Mentoring duration lasts between 3-6 months and consists of 2-3 meetings.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Eligibility<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>R&amp;PM is intended for PhD students, post-doctoral fellows, and early career scholars (individuals who have received their PhD within the past 5 years). Political scientists and scholars in related social science disciplines are welcome to apply.<\/p>\n<p>Mentors will provide feedback on a specific project. Projects should be independent (i.e. not co-authored). They must be at an advanced stage but must not have already been submitted (in the case of dissertation work, book proposals, and grant proposals) or accepted for publication (in the cases of journal articles and book chapters). Proposed projects can include any of the following:<\/p>\n<p>Journal article<br \/>\nBook chapter<br \/>\nDissertation chapter<br \/>\nBook proposal<br \/>\nGrant proposal<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>How to Apply:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested scholars should review the eligibility requirements and program expectations, then fill out the Application Form.
