The Barbara Sinclair Legacy Award is new LSS award designed to honor the work of a scholar or set of scholars who have\u00a0contributed a lifetime of significant scholarship to the study of legislative politics. In the tradition of Professor Sinclair\u2019s body of work, recipients of this award will have focused on individual legislative behavior, institutional rules, or the role of party in shaping legislative politics.\u00a0\u00a0This award is also intended to recognize scholars who employ a range of methods in their research.<\/p>\n

Nomination can be made by any member of the Legislative Studies Section;\u00a0 nomination letters and a list of the candidate’s publications are due by March 30, 2025.<\/p>\n
