Our official journal,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/journal\/11109\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Political Behavior<\/a>, publishes original research in the general fields of political behavior, public opinion, institutions, processes, and policies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Become an EPOVB member!<\/strong> \u00a0When\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.apsanet.org\/MEMBERSHIP\/Membership-Membership-Form\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">joining<\/a>\u00a0APSA or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.apsanet.org\/MEMBERSHIP\/Membership-Membership-Form\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">renewing<\/a>\u00a0your membership, or at any other time, consider joining EPVOB. And attend our business meeting and reception at the annual convention.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Section Bylaws<\/strong> &#8211; our section&#8217;s bylaws can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dropbox.com\/s\/sfy3j8yqvu1tt1g\/Original%20ByLaws%20in%20Word_Revisions%20v8r3%20%28clean%29_final%20approved%20and%20dated.pdf?dl=0\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4>CALl FOR PROPOSALS &#8211;<br \/>\nEPOVB EARLY-CAREER FELLOWSHIP<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"95\" data-end=\"238\">Now accepting applications for the <strong data-start=\"199\" data-end=\"237\">2026 EPOVB Early-Career Fellowship<\/strong>.\u00a0The fellowship supports graduate students and junior scholars who are no more than two years post-Ph.D. Fellows will receive <strong data-start=\"365\" data-end=\"373\">$500<\/strong>, mentorship from a scholar in the field, and the opportunity to present their work at the <strong data-start=\"464\" data-end=\"496\">Spring 2027 EPOVB Conference<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"535\" data-end=\"900\">Applicants should submit a short research proposal, a brief statement on the value of mentorship, a brief explanation of how the funds will be used, and a CV. Miller Prize<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>Andr\u00e9 Blais, University of Montreal; Awarded every two or three years for an outstanding career of intellectual accomplishment and service to the profession in the elections, public opinion, and voting behavior field.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>2025 Philip E. Converse Book Award <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Philip E. Converse Book Award goes to Ismail K. White and Chryl Laird for the book, Steadfast Democrats: How Social Forces Shape Black Political Behavior.\u00a0The Converse Award recognizes the author(s) of an outstanding book published at least five years ago.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2025 Emerging Scholar Award <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tyler Reny (Claremont University) wins our Emerging Scholar Award, which is presented to top scholars in the field who are within ten years of the Ph.D.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2025 EPOVB Best Paper Award<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Best Paper Award recognizes the best paper delivered at one of the section\u2019s panels at the previous year\u2019s APSA. This year the award goes to <span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Priyadarshi Amar, Sumitra Badrinathan, Simon Chauchard and Florian Sichart for the\u00a0paper\u00a0\u201c<\/span>Countering Misinformation Early: Evidence from a Classroom-based Field Experiment in India.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: inherit\">2025 Best Article, <i>Political Behavior<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This year, the section\u2019s Best Paper in Political Behavior Award is given to Benjamin S. Noble and Taylor N.
