The winner will receive a $500 cash prize. Send an electronic nomination letter to the award committee chair. All materials are due by March 1, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Eligibility criteria: Recipients need to be current members of the APSA Section on Migration and Citizenship. Recipients must have their PhD degree conferred within the past eight calendar years (e.g., for the award to be awarded in 2026, recipients can have received their PhDs no earlier than 2018) or hold a pre-tenure status. Nominations need to be accompanied by at least one nomination letter, written by the nominee and\/or a scholar other than the nominee, along with supporting documents that will allow the award committee to learn of the nominee\u2019s outstanding contribution to understanding migration and\/or citizenship in political life, including but not limited to a CV, writing sample(s) (not exceeding 30 pages total), and evidence of teaching excellence (not exceeding 30 pages total).<\/p>\n<p>Nomination Instructions: Please send all material in a single PDF document to the award committee chair.
