The biennial award may include conference registration fees and a one-year complimentary APSA membership. Contingent faculty, non-tenure track faculty, and faculty whose departments do not provide travel support are particularly encouraged to apply. Priority consideration is given to an applicant that: is presenting at the conference, is a first-time attendee, and on the lowest level of the income scale for APSA membership.\u00a0 Applications should include\u00a0a CV and 1 \u2013 2 page personal statement.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/apsa.secure-platform.com\/a\/solicitations\/149\/home\">Apply to the Michael Brintnall Teaching and Learning Award <\/a><\/h3>\n<p><a>APSA Award for Teaching Innovation\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>The APSA Award for Teaching Innovation honors a wide range of new directions in teaching.<\/strong> The award\u00a0carries a cash prize of $500 and financial support for travel costs, and is presented at the APSA Annual Meeting or the APSA\u00a0Teaching and Learning Conference depending on the year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nomination Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong> Self-nominations are accepted. Nominees do not have to be members of APSA, affiliated with an institution in the United States, or an American citizen in order to be considered for an award.
