APSA’s inaugural Virtual Research Meeting<\/strong>,\u00a0was an online event designed to provide a forum for scholars interested in sharing their research, providing constructive feedback for others, and creating partnerships and networks for future collaboration. The event featured opportunities to learn from research workshops,\u00a0general panels, and a virtual keynote panel around the theme of\u00a0\u201cChallenges in Political Science.<\/em>\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We received nearly 250 proposals and nearly 150 Research Group applicants!<\/strong> Looking to still participate? Consider volunteering to serve as a chair or discussant<\/a>!<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Registration Refund Policy: APSA does not have a refund policy for the Virtual Research Meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consent to Participate and Publicity Release Agreement<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

By logging in and accessing the 2024 American Political Science Association (APSA) Virtual Research Meeting, you agree to the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. All sessions on the virtual platform will be recorded. By attending the Meeting, I give permission to APSA to record video and audio and create photographs of me, including but not limited to any presentation at the Meeting. APSA may use the photographs, video images and voice recordings for any purpose, including education, publicity, marketing and advertising.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. I understand that I retain ownership of the copyrights to any presentation(s) and other materials I used as part of this presentation at the Meeting, but I allow APSA to use, reproduce, and distribute the presentation and other materials that I used. APSA may license the materials in connection with the Meeting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. My presentation will not use any copyrighted materials owned by third parties without permission, and nothing in my presentation will violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party, including copyrighted music.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. I know and understand that third party applications and platforms utilized by APSA, such as Zoom, Google Meetings, Twitter\/X, Instagram, and Facebook may have privacy and security concerns, and APSA specifically waives liability for any injury, claim, demand, loss or damage that arise in connection with my use of or participation with such third-party services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. I know I may not record or broadcast audio or video of any Meeting session.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. I agree not to log in to the Meeting under any credentials but my own.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. I agree to the APSA Meeting Anti-Harassment Policy (Code of Conduct)<\/strong><\/a>. The APSA Meeting Anti-Harassment Policy (Code of Conduct) addresses the importance of facilitating a climate of respect at all APSA Meetings. As part of this, the APSA RESPECT Campaign encourages \u201cprofessional respect\u201d by and towards all APSA Meeting attendees and participants at all times. RESPECT stands for R<\/strong>espectful, E<\/strong>quitable, S<\/strong>afe, P<\/strong>rofessional, and E<\/strong>thical C<\/strong>onduct T<\/strong>owards All. The presence of APSA resources such as the Meetings Ombuds<\/a><\/strong> and the Bystander Intervention trainings at the Annual Meeting are also in place to assist members with participating in any APSA Meeting in a respectful manner.
