{"id":618,"date":"2023-11-07T18:11:18","date_gmt":"2023-11-07T18:11:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/connect.apsanet.org\/virtual-research-meeting\/?page_id=618"},"modified":"2024-02-01T19:46:50","modified_gmt":"2024-02-01T19:46:50","slug":"participation-rules","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/connect.apsanet.org\/virtual-research-meeting\/participation-rules\/","title":{"rendered":"Participation Rules"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Participation Rules<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When submitting and accepting panel and individual paper proposals, please follow the following participation rules:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Rule 1: Registration<br><\/u><\/strong>APSA requires all program participants to register by&nbsp;<strong>January 5<\/strong>,<strong>&nbsp;2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Rule 2: Paper Delivery<\/u><\/strong><br>As a paper presenter, you have an important obligation to ensure that all members of your panel, especially discussants, receive your paper two (2) weeks prior to the conference, with enough time to prepare for the meeting. Papers should be uploaded to the conference system no later than\u00a0<strong>January 25, 2024.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/connect.apsanet.org\/virtual-research-meeting\/upload-your-conference-paper\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/connect.apsanet.org\/virtual-research-meeting\/upload-your-conference-paper\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">More information on how to upload your paper&gt;&gt;<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Rule 3: Panel Schedule<\/u><\/strong><br>Panels are scheduled in time slots beginning at 9:00 a.m. EST on Thursday and concluding at 7:30 p.m. EST on Friday. Participants are expected to be available for any of the time slots. View the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/allacademic.com\/one\/apsa\/ervm24\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Online Program<\/a><\/strong> for the full schedule. <em>Please note you must be logged into the program to view panel or participant details.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>PROPOSAL GUIDELINES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Acceptance Notification<\/u><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">s<\/span><\/strong><br>In mid-November, you will receive an acceptance or rejection e-mail for each proposal you submitted. If your proposal is not immediately accepted for a panel, you may be contacted at a later date to present if spaces become available on the program.
