APSA Section on Sexuality and Politics

Founded by APSA members in 2007, the mission of the Sexuality and Politics section is:
• to foster the study of sexuality and politics within the discipline of political science;
• to encourage rigorous and respectful research in the area of sexuality and politics;
• and to promote, where appropriate, the interests of political scientists researching sexuality and politics within a larger interdisciplinary and political community.

Yearly membership dues are FREE for students and $10.00 for other members.

Access to this website is restricted to section members.  Here you will find up-to-date information about our section’s officers, award committees and deadlines, recent books by section members, as well as a membership directory, discussion forum, and a library of documents related to the section’s history and operations.

For more information about the section, contact any section officer.
