Institute of Contemporary Art

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
Designed to resemble a Venetian palace, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum features art, architecture, and a seasonal courtyard garden. John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum
Located on a waterfront site overlooking Boston Harbor, the museum explores President Kennedy’s life, leadership, and legacy. Exhibits cover his presidential campaign, administration, public service, family, and the major events of the early 1960s.

The Boston Run Experience

The Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology

Boston Museum of Science

Franklin Park Zoo

This colorful, interactive attraction features more than 14 themed rooms, playful installations, photo opportunities, and unlimited ice cream. Visitors can also stop at the café for specialty desserts and sweet cocktails.

New England Aquarium 
One of Boston’s most popular attractions, the New England Aquarium features marine animals and habitats from around the world. Highlights include the four-story Giant Ocean Tank, penguin colony, sea lions, touch tanks, and exhibits focused on ocean conservation.

The Freedom Trail 
Follow Boston’s famous 2.5-mile red-brick trail to 16 nationally significant historic sites. The route connects churches, meeting houses, burying grounds, museums, parks, and landmarks associated with the American Revolution. Guided and self-guided options are available.

USS Constitution Museum

1776: Declaring Independence
Explore how the Declaration of Independence developed from a revolutionary idea into a founding document. The exhibition features letters, diaries, early printings, a rare Dunlap broadside, and handwritten copies by John Adams and Thomas Jefferson.

America at 250 at the MFA
The Museum of Fine Arts is reimagining its 18th-century Art of the Americas galleries for the nation’s 250th anniversary. The new display brings together Native, North American, Latin American, and Caribbean art to examine ideas of nationhood, identity, and resistance.

Black Voices of the Revolution: Liberty, Emancipation, and the Struggle for Independence

Declarations Trail

The Road to Revolution: Massachusetts and the Independence Movement
