Welcome to the State Politics and Policy website!
The State Politics and Policy Section of American Political Science Association works to promote scholarly research and the exchange of ideas in the field of state politics and policy, broadly defined.
The purpose to this section is to further our understanding of the American states including their institutions, political actors, policies, and local, national, and international influence.
SPPC 2027 will be held from June 3-5, 2027 in Buffalo, New York. Additional details, including a link to the conference website with proposal submission instructions, will be posted on the Section website as soon as it is available. Conference hosts are Conor Dowling, Abby Matthews, and Jim Battista of the University of Buffalo.
