Funding

The Class and Inequality section is committed to making participation in the APSA annual meeting accessible to all C&I panel participants. In addition to the Christopher Faricy Graduate Student Travel Award, we are also offering a flexible conference stipend open to scholars of any level. We will contact all those offered C&I roles with additional details and deadlines; note that we will begin accepting funding applications soon after APSA sends acceptances and will communicate grant decisions before the APSA registration deadline. Should demand exceed our resources, we will prioritize graduate students and those on the job market.

Conference Support Grants

Applications are open for the Class & Inequality section support grants for the 2025 APSA Conference in Vancouver. We anticipate being able to award grants to multiple scholars. Graduate students and scholars with limited travel resources are especially encouraged to apply. The application portal can be found at https://apsa.secure-platform.com/a/solicitations/312/home.

Christopher Faricy Graduate Student Travel Award

To help defer the cost of travel expenses related to attending the APSA annual meeting, the Section makes every effort to grant the travel award to all graduate students presenting a paper at a C&I panel who apply and demonstrate that insufficient funding is available from other sources.
