We spoke with Becky for the last time only a few weeks before her passing: she was her usual self, bursting with energy and ideas. This is the image that we still have and that we will keep in our minds. Becky was an unusual scientist, combining original ideas with an unparalleled ability to organize all the work that was needed to pursue them. But even more importantly, she was a person with great humanity. She will be deeply missed.
