Accessibility Grants

APSA is pleased to provide accessibility grants to attend the Virtual APSA Annual Meeting to qualified applicants including U.S. graduate students, international graduate students studying in the U.S., unemployed members, international scholars, community college faculty, contingent faculty, unemployed faculty, APSA Status Committee members, and any faculty member who has been furloughed or experienced a reduction in available research funds from their college/university.

Accessibility grants are intended to defray the costs of participation in the meeting, including food, childcare or elderly care, Wi-Fi or internet connection fees, or hardware/software, and auxiliary aids and services for individuals with hearing or vision disability. Grants will be made up to $150 USD for reimbursement of these costs. First time meeting attendees and those on the job market or tenure track will receive priority consideration.

Your membership with APSA must be active through the conclusion of the Virtual Annual Meeting (September 2020) in order to qualify. Grant recipients will be reimbursed for expenses after the Annual Meeting. For questions about the program, please contact travelgrants@apsanet.org.
