The reception is hosted by the Governance and Local Development (GLD), Quality of Government (QoG), and Varieties of Democracy (V-Dem) Institutes, in collaboration with Demscore.

GLD aims to promote human welfare by conducting rigorous and innovative local governance research.  QoG researches the causes, consequences, and nature of good governance and the Quality of Government.  V-Dem annually produces world-leading data and research on democracy and autocracy.  Demscore, a collaborative research infrastructure, harmonizes and merges world-leading social science data.
