To support APSA Annual Meeting members and attendees who require childcare to attend the meeting, APSA, with the support of Cambridge University Press, is now offering an opportunity to apply for a limited number of reimbursements (up to $250 per family) to help subsidize the cost of childcare in Montréal for in-person APSA members at the 2022 Annual Meeting. The deadline to apply to be considered for a childcare reimbursement is August 18, 2022.
Eligibility Requirements for Childcare Reimbursement:
- Must be an APSA Member registered to attend the in-person APSA Annual Meeting;
- Must have one or more dependents requiring childcare in Montréal (arranged by the attendee) to attend the Meeting;
- Only one caregiver per family may apply;
- Reimbursements are not intended to cover routine childcare costs that a member is already paying on a day-to-day basis;
- Preference will be given to applicants in the early stages of their careers;
- Reimbursements will not cover other miscellaneous costs related to childcare, such as meals, travel, and activities; and
- Itemized receipts must include childcare service provider name (based in Montréal), dates of service (during the meeting), and amount of service.
- All receipts will need to be uploaded by October 7, 2022. A new form will be sent for receipt uploads after the Annual Meeting.
