APSA is excited to announce the return of the Emerging Scholars Symposium and Lightning Rounds for the 2022 Annual Meeting. The Emerging Scholars Symposium kicks off with Lightning Rounds, which are similar to PechaKucha. The day concludes with the Graduate Student Happy Hour!
Mark your calendars for this year’s Plenary Panels featuring well-known political science scholars and experts: “Is Canadian Democracy Under Threat?,” “Voices of the Right: Political Conservatism in Academia,” and a breaking new panel on “The Russian Invasion of Ukraine and its Consequences.”
The fifth “TLC at APSA,” the teaching and learning conference-within-a-conference, will take place on Saturday, September 17, 2022, in Montréal, Québec, Canada. This year’s TLC at APSA theme is “Teaching Political Science in a Post-Pandemic Era.”
This full-day event seeks to promote the scholarship of teaching and learning, equip faculty with new techniques and resources for teaching, share innovative techniques to maximize students’ interest, and enhance the role of teaching in the discipline of political science.
APSA will continue to use electronic, multimedia iPosters and the iPoster Gallery to create and display an in-person iPosters at the 2022 Annual Meeting! All poster sessions will be in-person only, with each session’s iPosters displayed on screens in their onsite panel room. The online iPoster gallery will also accessible before, during, and after the Annual Meeting.
