iPoster Sessions

APSA’s electronic, multimedia iPosters and iPoster Gallery are an excellent opportunity to engage in exciting discussions and network with fellow scholars during the APSA Annual Meeting. With interactive features such as the ability to zoom in on graphics and images, link source materials, and include animations, video, and audio clips, we believe iPosters create a much more enriching experience for poster authors and attendees alike.

While this year’s meeting will have both in-person and virtual session formats, all iPosters will be presented virtually and will be linked from the virtual meeting platform. To allow attendees to ask questions and discuss the virtual posters with their presenters, poster authors will be hosting live text chats during their scheduled division poster time (as listed in the online program). Stop by and engage with them live about their research during these times. Poster authors can view instructions on how to schedule their live text chat here.

In addition to viewing the virtual posters during the Annual Meeting, APSA attendees and members will be able to view meeting posters before, during, and after the conference via an online gallery, providing a much wider window of engagement for authors to receive feedback, as well as a convenient way for APSA colleagues to share feedback or find opportunities for collaboration.

You can access the 2021 iPoster Gallery here

To assist in connecting with the right people, all iPosters will be filterable by division, presentation time, and keyword; and searchable by author name and poster title. Each author will choose three keywords/phrases/fields/subfields that will be tagged to their poster to make it easy for colleagues to find the presentations that interest them.

Meeting attendees will also be able to send private comments or messages directly to poster authors via the online gallery. Attendees looking to connect with an author or see a poster presentation can also contact the authors through the poster gallery to schedule a time that works best for all parties.

Poster Authors:

APSA is pleased to announce the iPoster Award Prize! This $500 prize will be awarded to one author for this year’s Best APSA Poster. Details on how to be considered are forthcoming.

Be sure to schedule your live text chat during your division’s scheduled poster session time!
