APSA is working with its partners to help make the in-person Annual Meeting more sustainable. Offerings include:
- An electronic program or mobile app in lieu of a printed program
- Recyclable badge stock without plastic holders
- Recyclable lanyards
- Signs are printed on eco-friendly materials
- LEED-certified Silver hotel (Hyatt Olive 8)
Other ways to reduce your footprint include:
- Using Smart Transportation to get into and around the city:
- Taking the Link Light Rail from the airport and around the city
- Using other smart transportation options, such as the King County Transit bus, the Monorail, or the Streetcar
- Renting a bike to get around the city through Lime
- Consider an ORCA card – ORCA is accepted by King County Metro Transit, the Washington State Ferries, the Monorail and the Streetcar
- Bring along a reusable water bottle to refill
- Opting out of daily linen replacement service
- Recycling
