APSA is working with its partners to help make theĀ  in-person Annual Meeting more sustainable. Offerings include:

  • An electronic program or mobile app in lieu of a printed program
  • Recyclable badge stock without plastic holders
  • Recyclable lanyards
  • Signs are printed on eco-friendly materials
  • LEED-certified Silver hotel (Hyatt Olive 8)

Other ways to reduce your footprint include:

  • Using Smart Transportation to get into and around the city:
    • Taking the Link Light Rail from the airport and around the city
    • Using other smart transportation options, such as the King County Transit bus, the Monorail, or the Streetcar
    • Renting a bike to get around the city through Lime
    • Consider an ORCA card – ORCA is accepted by King County Metro Transit, the Washington State Ferries, the Monorail and the Streetcar
  • Bring along a reusable water bottle to refill
  • Opting out of daily linen replacement service
  • Recycling
